Architecture is one of the few tangible measures of our cultural identity and therefore it cannot be approached carelessly or passively. Every site, building or built form embodies a unique KONTEKST, it is understood as the circumstances within which something exists, happens or simply is; it is the genetic material of any project.

An understanding that is supported by the very meaning of the original Latin word Contextus: meaning con-‘together’ + texere-‘to weave’.

Our interpretation of KONTEKST is simply that, the fusion of all related things into one.

This is how we see architecture, a coming together of many strands (site, history, culture, people, program, client, budget, etc.) to materialize into an exceptional built form that inspires, nurtures and sustains for many generations. Architecture needs to be the outlet by which can nurture our own cultural identity and our sense of community and place in our time.
